Our programme offers a well balanced timetable of English tuition, sport and fun activities, combined with outings to recreational and cultural centres. The school has an excellent heated indoor swimming pool, extensive sports fields, tennis courts and well maintained gymnasium.

Activities: During the afternoons and evenings there is usually a choice of activity and all children are expected to participate in the programme. Afternoon activities can include football, tennis, swimming, volleyball, rounders (baseball), drama, art and craft, jewellery making, trip to beach, shopping in Eastbourne, etc. Evening entertainment can include quiz games, trips to Eastbourne pier, talent contests, discos, karaoke, cinema, laser quest and many more.

Excursions: Excursions, which change weekly, usually take place every Wednesday and Sunday. Children of this age usually enjoy a day out at a Theme Park and in 2008 there will be a trip to the Chessington World of Adventures. Our staff always accompany students on these visits. Other trips proposed for Summer 2008 include a River Thames Boat Trip from Tower Bridge to Westminster, a visit to the London Aquarium, a trip on the London Eye and a trip to Hastings - where children will see the Smugglers Caves, Underwater World and the 1066 story. There are also visits to the London Science Museum and Hyde Park and to the Seven Sisters Country Park, where boys and girls will be able to participate in raft building, mountain biking, archery, climbing wall and canoeing/kayaking, as well as a tour of this well known local beauty spot. All excursions are included in the weekly course fee. There are no additional costs involved.

Sports Tuition

horse riding

In addition to the inclusive sports and activities programme, it is possible to book specialist sports coaching in certain sports. This tuition takes place in small groups and is led by professional and fully qualified instructors. All abilities from beginner to advanced are catered for. This is an optional extra and not compulsory. We recommend children only book these options for sports they really enjoy, as they will miss the timetabled activity. All equipment is provided, but some students may prefer to bring their own.
